Sponsor A Pastor
Out of the 600 people groups in the world that have never heard the Gospel, 300 of those groups are in India. These are people groups that have never heard the name of JESUS. We must also keep in mind that this does not include the enormous need that India has for the redemptive message of JESUS CHRIST to saturate the entire country. There is a tremendous need for the Gospel to cover the land of India. Why? “For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.” (Hab 2:14)
Even if we, as Americans, wanted to be missionaries, there wouldn’t be enough of us to cover the great nation of India. The good news for most of us is that GOD is not looking for us to do that but HE does want us to do our part.
Indigenous pastors in the mission field are in desperate need of financial assistance. Their congregations consist of new converts who have yet to mature into faithful givers, and the poorest of the poor who cannot provide the pastor with a sustainable income for his family. By giving $65 a month you can support an indigenous pastor and his efforts. Most of our pastors simply need the basics in order to survive, as well as transportation expenses to get to the multiple churches that they have planted in various villages. This is one of the greatest investments you can make for advancing the Kingdom of God in unreached places.
You can also purchase a bicycle for $85. Each bicycle empowers a pastor to get into more villages and reach more perishing souls. One bike lasts about 5 years, and in addition to giving the opportunity to reach around 5 villages, approximately 50 people will come to CHRIST and become a part of the church. Think about the power of purchasing a bike: One bicycle is equivalent to 50 souls brought into the Kingdom of GOD. What a bargain for HIS glorious Kingdom!
PURCHASE A COW
You can Purchase a Cow for $500 to help subsidize a pastor’s income. By providing a pastor with a dairy cow, he is able to meet some of his financial demands by selling its milk giving him more opportunities to direct his attention to the needs of his congregation and reaching the lost. The cow can also produce eight to nine calves in its lifetime, and upon selling these calves the opportunity for a great financial boost is given to the pastor and his family.
